Building awareness and capacity amongst central banks and supervisors
WWF´s Greening Financial Regulation Initiative provides officers and employees of central banks and financial supervisors with a free-of-charge e-learning course on nature-related risks. This is an introductory level and self-guided course available through the ASFI Academy. 
 
The course covers three key topics:
 
  • The state of nature: Environmental Science for finance professionals.
  • The nature-finance nexus: How nature-related risks impact financial institutions.
  • International nature-related agreements and frameworks.

It takes approximately 60-90 minutes to complete. A certificate of completion will be available on successfully passing the short assessment.

 

Where to start?

If you are an officer or an employee of a central bank or financial supervisor, you can access the course clicking on this enrollment link after which you can set up an account with your official e-mail address and a password. The course can be found under the Course Catalogue in Level 1: Thematic courses, or in My courses. Once you have created an account on ASFI Academy, you can log in again at any time with your account details.  

Other interested users can enter through the link for 'International Professionals' to purchase the course on ASFI Academy 
For international users, the course retails at SGD 40+GST.
