Each year we produce more than two billion tonnes of waste globally and this figure is predicted to rise further. Frustrated by the growing problem of consumer waste, woodworker Felix Bӧck saw an opportunity in chopsticks.
Most disposable chopsticks are discarded after just one meal and in Vancouver, 100,000 chopsticks are thrown away every single day.
Felix’s network of global micro factories collect chopsticks from local restaurants and turn them into stylish products.
