Restoring Ugandan forest to combat climate change


Nature can survive without humans but we can’t survive without nature. A community in Uganda has learned this the hard way.  

Nearly three quarters of the Kagombe Central Forest reserve in Uganda has been destroyed in the last 10 years as agriculture has expanded.

The local communities have learned the impact of deforestation and have come together to combat the effects of climate change with planting and patrols.
