The Mexican coffee community embracing nature


Almost a third of our planet is covered in forest but every year we lose 10 million hectares.

Forests not only play a critical role in mitigating climate change, they also purify water and provide jobs for millions of people.

In Oaxaca in Mexico, coffee-growers Apolonia and José Jacinto are addressing local deforestation and exploring ways of protecting their surroundings through community-based alliances and regenerative agriculture.
