42Race and WWF team up to launch virtual race

Help the planet one step at a time.

We share our planet with millions of species of plants and animals - a wondrous variety of wildlife and their habitats that enrich our lives in so many ways. Nature gives us food, water, medicines, raw materials and supports livelihoods and economies. But nature is in crisis – parts of our planet are on fire while some are underwater, wildlife numbers have fallen by more than half since 1970, and species are going extinct at an alarming rate.

We need to urgently reverse this loss of nature and you can be a part of it. That’s why 42Race and WWF are teaming up to create “Run Wild with WWF” to raise funds and awareness to conserve and protect nature.

WWF and its partners are on the ground carrying out conservation efforts to preserve habitats, strengthen the way they are managed and to improve connections so that wildlife can move freely between them.

How does it work?

Step 1: Download the 42Race App

Step 2: Register here to take part in the virtual race! At least 50% of each registration will go directly to WWF’s conservation efforts.

For each Earth Day Bundle registration (three races), 60% of proceeds (S$9) will go towards WWF's conservation efforts and you will get all three exclusive virtual badges and access to two lead up runs on top of the main “Run wild with WWF” virtual race event that will happen between 20 to 26 April! All badges will start off in monochrome and turn to colour upon the completion of your run. This bundle, which will be available only from 13 Jan to 17 Feb, will be most appealing for those who love running and like a challenge.

For each Run Wild with WWF (one race) registration, 50% of proceeds (S$5) will go towards WWF's conservation efforts and you will get your very own exclusive "Panda" badge.

At the end of your registration, you will have the option to also purchase add-on merchandise where 100% of the proceeds will go directly to WWF's conservation efforts.
