Benefits and Challenges of FSC Certification Discussed at GFTN Side Event

From FSC GA Newsroom: The event organized by the Global Forest & Trade Network (GFTN) focused on the promotion of FSC certification and brought together panelists from FSC Africa, IKEA, Tetra Pak, TRAFFIC, the Sabah Forestry Department and The Nature Conservancy. It addressed the challenges and the benefits of FSC certification, in particular forest conservation and the positive impact on the livelihoods of local communities.
