Asia’s biggest wildlife quiz is coming back to Bhutan! WWF Bhutan invites all primary and middle secondary schools in Thimphu, Paro, Haa, Gasa, Wangduephodrang, and Punakha to participate in Wild Wisdom Quiz 2019.

This year, Wild Wisdom Quiz is targeting the western region of Bhutan. Interested schools in Thimphu, Paro, Gasa, Haa, Wangduephodrang, and Punakha are invited to register. The theme this year is Exploring Our Planet, focusing on the planet's most diverse biomes and precious species. Through our theme we plan to give a message of hope: we can still save our planet if we act now.

The quiz consists of two levels, a Primary Level (class 3-5) and a Middle Secondary Level (class 6-8), and three separate rounds - a school-level quiz which individual schools will organize on their own, a national-level quiz in Thimphu that WWF Bhutan will organize, and international finale quiz in New Delhi, India that is being organized by WWF-India.

At the school level quiz, the individual schools will organize a pen and paper quiz with multiple choice questions to select two students to represent their school at the national-level quiz in Thimphu. The questions will be prepared by WWF Bhutan and shared with the school.

At the national-level quiz, the primary schools will participate in a pen and paper round which will determine the first, second, and third place winners. However, the middle secondary schools will first participate in a pen and paper round as an elimination round to select the top 5 schools who will proceed to the stage round - a 1-hour quiz on a stage that will determine 2 grand winners who will get the opportunity to represent Bhutan at the International Finale.

WWF Bhutan will send these 2 winning students to represent Bhutan at the International Finale in New Delhi, India. Individual schools will have to bear their own costs to conduct the school-level quiz as well as to travel to Thimphu to attend the national level quiz.

The school-level quiz is scheduled for August 2019, the national-level quiz is scheduled for October 2019 and the finale quiz is scheduled for 20 November 2019.
