Coral Triangle Day 2012
On June 9, 2012, the countries of the Coral Triangle came together to for the first time to celebrate their single most important shared resource: the oceans.
From local communities to NGOs, responsible businesses to government agencies, people from all walks of life organized and participated in exciting events across the region.
Over 11,000 people participated in this regional celebration in more than 40 locations in 7 countries.
This was the first Coral Triangle Day, and the first of many more to come!
