The proposed law does not match up to the climate emergency
The European Commission has proposed a EU climate law. It's a long overdue step towards implementing the Paris Agreement. However the proposed law does not match up to the climate emergency we face.
This briefing paper provides a detailed assessment of the Commission’s proposal. It discusses what the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers should change or add in the coming months.
