My experience with WWF Mongolia has been really captivating. It definitely takes you away from your comfort zone but the experience so far has been priceless.
My experience with WWF Mongolia has been really captivating. It definitely takes you away from your comfort zone but the experience so far has been priceless.

My role here is to develop ideas for green initiatives by retrieving the necessary information and data from the local people and government officials to be able to decide the best plan of action in the implementation of green initiatives (Biogas produced from cow dung and solar can heaters) to improve the lives of the habitants whilst promoting the respect and protection of their pristine environment. Although there are substantial obstacles given the context of Dadal, the limited resources we have at our disposal and the language barrier on a personal level I am confident that we can prevail to develop a few ideas to an operational level during my internship.

This experience is invaluable for my future career to apprehend how to implement local projects with all the challenges it entails. Attempting to make people adhere to a project without being invasive and to attempt benefitting their way of life is the knowledge that I could not acquire without such an experience.
