Scandinavian Arctic fox needs acute help
The Arctic fox is adapted to a life on the edge what is possible to survive. They have a thick fur and they can withstand temperatures below minus 50 degrees Celsius. In winter their fur are almost pure white, except for the black nose.
This is also why the Arctic fox do have problems in Sweden. In late 19th century until early 20th century, the Arctic fox was hunted almost to extinction in Scandinavia due to the heavy demand for their thick beautiful fur. In 1928 the Arctic fox was finally protected from all hunting in Sweden.
