We reach our main goals – conservation, restoration and sustainable management - in the Danube-Carpathian region and the Green Heart of Europe through:

Model projects
WWF uses innovative approaches in the field to produce tangible, visible results that illustrate our policy messages.

Influencing policy
WWF persuades local, national and international decision makers to produce policy and legislation that supports nature conservation and sustainable development.

Communications
WWF raises the awareness of key target audiences on important issues.

Networking
WWF acts, wherever possible, in partnership with governments, NGOs and business.

Awareness raising
Through a variety of communications activities, WWF builds understanding and awareness among different stakeholders, including the general public.

Capacity building
WWF supports the development of new skills and knowledge within governments, NGOs and other stakeholders across the region.
