The Recruitment and Training Officer position is full-time and based in Bucharest, Romania. The officer will contribute to the WWF mission in general and to WWF-Romania's annual objectives through recruiting and training Face-to-Face Fundraisers (F2F). More specifically, the officer will work with the WWF-Romania F2F Fundraising Coordinator with the aim of growing and strengthening the team of face-to-face fundraisers. The Recruitment and Training Officer will report to the F2F Fundraising Coordinator.Your duties will include:
A. Recruitment
- Develops and implements the recruitment strategy for F2F Fundraisers, together with F2F Fundraising Coordinator and input from relevant colleagues in the CEE region;
- Selects job applications, carries out phone and face-to-face interviews (together with F2F Fundraising Coordinator) with job candidates, conducts inception training in Bucharest and other cities;
- Prepares the necessary plan and materials for communicating the job, with input from F2F Fundraising Coordinator;
- Identifies and participates in relevant events (job fairs etc.) for promoting the job;
- Delivers the number of fundraisers according to the monthly target;
- Develops and carries out trainings for fundraisers , together input from the F2F Fundraising Coordinator;
- Actively identifies fundraisers’ personal needs for training and delivers information accordingly, in order to improve their performance;
- Makes sure that fundraisers will receive all information regarding collecting and dealing with donors’ personal data.
- Makes sure that fundraisers have all the necessary information and skills in order to reach the targets;
- Visits the F2F team weekly, in order to understand fundraisers’ profile and their job challenges;
- Assesses team members’ personalities and way of working together while establishing field teams, together with the F2F Fundraising Coordinator;
- Monitors the efficiency of the recruitment process , according to the established KPI’s.
- Prepares weekly efficiency reports for the recruitment process, according to established KPIs, and take the necessary measures for improving recruitment performance.
- Works weekly in the street and signs at least one contract/ week;
We expect from you:

- Knowledge: University degree in human resources, social sciences, communications, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in human resources, fundraising, communications or related fields, with an emphasis on HR or similar.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to function in a multi-cultural and multi-team environment.
- Ambition, energy and drive, with a commitment to making a difference.
- A team player, committed to building a strong team and sharing success with colleagues.
- Native language Romanian; fluently in English, oral and written.
- Computer literacy.
- Commitment to WWF’s mission and priorities.
