The Ruvuma Landscape Scenarios report builds on a process initiated under the trans-boundary forum between Regional Governments of Ruvuma and Mtwara in Tanzania and the provincial governments of Niassa and Cabo Delgado in Mozambique. The inspiration behind this process is the need for more strategic vision and planning for the future of the region amid major planned developments and threats currently facing the Ruvuma Landscape. The scenario planning process is part of adaptive management and learning aiming to contribute to a longer-term integrated development planning to better manage the rapidly changing circumstances of the Ruvuma Landscape.
