Communication Consultant for the Blue Swimming Crab project, Vietnam

WWF-Vietnam is seeking a communication consultant to develop a four year communication strategy for the Blue Swimming Crab project in Kien Giang. 
Background
The Fisheries Improvement Project (FIP) is under the process to develop the 4 year long Communications Strategy from 2014 in order to raise awareness on protecting the blue swimming crab resource in Kien Giang province, draw the attention, participation and support of stakeholders, fishing communities to the FIP project. This will require their changes in fishing activities, management of the resource and ecosystem.

The Communications Department of WWF-Vietnam is seeking outsources to gather/ exchange information with related stakeholders in order to shape the key content of this Strategy. This is in line with set objective of the project the communications works currently support, with a budget has been secured by the project.

1.Major Function
The Consultant will facilitate the sharing and exchanging of information with and between when possible all related stakeholders in order to accomplish the strategy template as attached.
The consultant will pay a field trip to the project site and conduct the interview with related partners in HCM and in Hanoi when possible.

2.Major Responsibility
Identify areas for information
Develop the Q&A
Pay a field trip to meet with stakeholders and the fishing communities in Kien Giang
Meet with VASEP in HCM City
Consult with media and related NGOs in Hanoi when possible
Form the strategy with template provided. The provided template is opened for comments by the consultant

3. Outputs
A strategy and suggested implementation plan.

4.Requirements
- The applicant could be either individual or organisation
- Excellent knowledge of Communications and Communications on Behaviours Change
- Experience to work with different groups of stakeholders, especially farmers and fisheries
- Good understanding of WWF-VN works and its communications works
- Good command of English
- Effective facilitation skills
- Enthusiasm towards conservation activities.
