Table 3 – Valuing Water Initiative: Initial investments

The VWI will demonstrate the practical application of the UN Valuing Water Principles in different water value chains and sectors, which will help to bring the systemic change required to understand, value and manage water in all decisions (policy, industry, finance, behavior etc) which impact water. The discussion will focus on how optimally large pension funds, asset managers and lenders can and should engage policy-makers, companies and the water sector more actively in protecting and valuing water resources.
