On June 5, WWF-Armenia participated in the Europe Day’s information fair organized by the EU Delegation to Armenia. The event took place on the Northern Avenue, where more than 50 exhibitors, including NGOs, embassies, international organizations, were presenting their EU-funded projects.

The aim of the fair was to present to the public more about EU-Armenia cooperation, to show the work which have been done over the years, as well as to give an opportunity to explore Europe, European culture and values.

The EU funded ENPI FLEG regional project on forest transformation, implemented by WWF, World Bank and IUCN was exhibited on the fair. Project’s visibility and communication materials, including brochures, postcards, books, caps, T-shirts, were widely distributed.

The booth was full of visitors: students, international officials, ecologists and many other interested people could get information about the project implementation details. In the booth they all met WWF Panda which was welcoming everyone.

The whole event was accompanied by cultural programs. The day was concluded with a Night Concert which was open to the public. The concert was filled with great performers from Armenia and Europe, such as Lara Taylor and Manuel Galey.
