Green Economy Focal Point for Cambodia

WWF-Cambodia
is looking for a consultant to work for Green Economy Focal Point for Cambodia who will drive the Green Economy work for WWF-Cambodia specifically by way of feeding lessons learned and valid experiences (including relevant data assessment being conducted) from the field into national policy processes and making the bridge between policy and practice at the national level. To ensure the delivery of WWFs conservation goals in Cambodia’s FY16-20 strategic plan, the incumbent shall specifically be working on addressing the drivers of deforestation, one of the major environmental threats that this country faces.

What you need:
Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
• MSc in Political Science, Environmental Economics, Environmental Management, Natural Resource     Management, Forestry or some relevant discipline to green growth/green economy;
• 3 years relevant work experience as a policy coordinator and/or project manager with a focus on sustainable natural resources management in developing countries – especially in Southeast Asia;
• Experience in coordinating/working with diverse international teams in multicultural environment;
• Experience in proposal writing for large projects;
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Khmer language is desirable;
• Proficiency in MS Office.
