The facilities include a wooden span bridge over Tandingang chhu (river) that benefits 20 households in Tandingang village besides the trekkers using the Bumthang cultural trek route and park staff. Similarly, another 50-meter long bridge over the Tang chu en route to Thowadrag Goenpa will benefit pilgrims visiting the Goenpa and tourists. 
 

The Kitzom community ecotourism campground will be benefitting 20 households that manage the campground and will also generate revenue for the management group. The management group is entrusted to take care of the maintenance and waste arising from the subsequent use of the facilities as guided per the management group’s by laws.
 

All these facilities are expected to enhance the prospects of ecotourism benefitting the local communities and helping mitigate the impacts of climate change on the community’s livelihood and reduce pressure on natural resources in the area.
