On 24 and 25 October 2013 EU Heads of State will meet in Brussels to discuss about Innovation. The Green 10 sent a letter today to Martin Schulz, Herman Van Rompuy and Jose Manuel Barroso, Presidents of the European Parliament, the European Council and European Commission respectively to express their view about the way environmental protection can promote innovation. They are also concerned that some companies are criticising the EU risk regulation (Art. 191 of EU Lisbon Treaty) as a block to innovation.
