Veronica Pedrosa,  the host, is the lead news presenter at the Kuala Lumpur broadcast centre of Al Jazeera English, a leading international news network. She is a former news anchor of CNN International and BBC World as well as a former journalist at ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs.

Jim Leape

A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Jim began his career as an environmental lawyer. He first joined WWF in the US in 1989, and for 10 years led their conservation programmes around the world, serving as Executive Vice President. He has been DG of WWF International since 2006.

Yolanda Kakabadse

Yolanda Kakabadse is a former Minister of Environment for Ecuador. She is currently Chair of the Advisory Board of Fundacion Futuro Latinoamericano, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ford Foundation, the InterAmerican Dialogue, the Environmental Advisory Board of CocaCola and the Holcim Foundation.

Vince Perez

Mr Pérez is founder and CEO of Alternergy Partners, a power company focused on developing renewable power projects in emerging countries in Asia. He is also Chairman of Merritt Partners, an energy advisory firm to companies doing business in Asia, and Chairman of WWF-Philippines. From 2001 to 2005 Vince served as Philippines Energy Minister.

Chris Palmer

Chris Palmer is Director and founder of the Center for Environmental Filmmaking; he launched Classroom in the Wild, and is President of the MacGillivray Freeman Films Educational Foundation. Chris has produced hundreds of hours of films for television and cinema and has won numerous awards including two Emmys and an Oscar nomination. His book, Shooting in the Wild, was published in May by Sierra Club Books.

Nick Ross

Nick Ross is a broadcaster and journalist and one of TV's longest-serving presenters. He has been a member of several government committees including those on crime reduction, regulating gene therapy and reviewing the NHS, and a member of the Committee on the Public Understanding of Science, the Nuffield Council on Bioethics and chairman (twice) of the science book prize.
