The Belgian branch of WWF has around 78,000 supporters. It supports the work of the WWF network and conducts its own activities and field projects. The main activities of WWF-Belgium happen on Belgian soil.

WWF-Belgium also coordinates projects in other countries, mainly in Central Africa. WWF-Belgium has experience in the sustainable management of forests in this region and is recognized as an expert in this field. WWF coordinates projects of forest management in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon and Cameroon.
