Inspiring Practices: Enshrining Forests in the International Climate Policy Agenda

Posted on 18 June 2021

A strategic, sustained approach by environmental NGOs to increase the visibility and inclusion of forests in the international climate policy agenda.
WWF's Inspiring Practices are designed to share forest and climate lessons learned, so that they may be replicated or adapted as appropriate by others for their own forest and climate related work.

This Inspiring Practice describes how, over the years, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and other NGO partners have advocated to include forests in the international climate change policy regime due to their significant role in planetary and climate health.
