WWF has an opening through its Youth Volunteer Internship Programme for an international or local volunteer/intern for a 6-month assignment with WWF Peru's Marine Programme.
WWF has an opening through its Youth Volunteer Internship Programme for an international or local volunteer/intern for a 6-month assignment with WWF Peru's Marine Programme.
Location: WWF Peru (based in Lima)
Assignment dates: as soon as possible for 6 months
Language required: good level of Spanish and English
Age Category: 19-27 years
Required Qualifications
  • Experience with managing / developing interventions, small projects or volunteer activities.
  • Education and/or experience in community psychology, anthropology, communications, social sciences or administration.
  • Experience being volunteer ideally working with kids or communities before.
  • Required to have health insurance.
 
Desired Skills and Competencies
  • Self-start, proactive, efficient, able to work to deadline and lead projects.
  • Responsible, passion to his work, oriented to results, empathy and able to build good work relationships.
  • Good understanding about the need of communications and capacity to register the project by photo and video.
  • Capacity to do SWOT analysis and propose strategies.
  • Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English, ideally one of those as mother tongue.
