Greening finance together
Partnering with financial institutions to accelerate transition
Financial institutions have power to influence the companies they own, finance, insure and invest in, supporting a transition to resilient, nature-positive, net zero business models.
That’s why we have partnerships with more than 170 financial institutions designed to shift companies, markets and sectors toward more sustainability.
And over the past five years, we have helped mobilise more than $1 billion in private capital for activities in the real economy that benefit people, communities and nature.
We do this through initiatives as diverse as the Dutch Fund for Climate and Development (DCFD) which enables private sector investment in climate adaptation and mitigation projects, the RobecoSAM Biodiversity Equities Fund which invests in sustainable natural resource use, and Herencia Colombia which funds iconic Colombian land and seascapes.
