A Platform for Public-Private Partnerships
Since its inception, the Coral Triangle Regional Business Forum has seen fishing companies, seafood retailers, and travel and tourism operators in the Coral Triangle publicly announce concrete steps to reduce their impact on the marine environment by adopting more responsible business practices.
The forum has recognized several notable Public-Private Partnerships
between large-scale companies, NGOs, local communities, and governmental agencies that aim to improve marine resource use and management, be it adopting more rigorous operating standards, employing sustainable sourcing policies, or financing grassroots activities that benefit both the people and environment.
