Climate Change Scenarios and Possible Impact on Borneo

This document is a summary of the Borneo chapter of the climate change impacts study done by Naturalis Biodiversity Center
Despite representing just 1% of the Earth’s terrestrial surface, Borneo holds an estimated 6% of global biodiversity. At least 233 terrestrial mammals, 350 bird species and almost 1,000 species of butterflies 1  live in Borneo.
