Orangutan Food Trees of Sebangau

Sebangau National Park is a very large area (568,000 ha) in the southern part of Borneo, in the Indonesian province of Central Kalimantan.
Wide areas bordering the Sebangau National Park became strongly affected by fires. Most sections of Sebangau, where the water retention capacity has been restored, were safe from fires. However, there were many fire spots at several locations inside the edges of the national park but also in the Sungai Bulan area in the interior of the park.
