Law Enforcement Training Increases Capacity to Combat Illegal Wildlife Trade in Laos

On Jan 17, 2018, WWF-Laos staff supported the organization of a law enforcement training in Vientiane for forestry officials focusing on investigation and detention/arrest tactics for offenders. More than 50 forestry and government department staff joined. The purpose of the training was to share tactics that the authorities can use when dealing with illegal wildlife traders and offenders and illegal action of wildlife crime.
