I knew Mingma Sherpa from WWF-US, Washington DC. I was very impressed with his work on Tiger conservation in Nepal. He had the knowledge, experience, dedication and interest how to do effective tiger conservation in Nepal and help the tigers and the local population. I will miss him.

I also think the Top conservationists who died with Mingma were Nepal's very best on Conservation and Biodiversity issues. It is dedicated people like them and their work that gives a chance for the tiger and many other species to surrive. My sympathies to Minngmas family and the families of others who died in this terrible accident.
