We who are in the field of conservation in Nepal have been orphaned with this immense loss. What we need to do in this moment of tragedy is to keep up with our patience and be more strong and committed to continue the process of conservation and development to fulfill the loss with what Dr. Chandra Gurung used to say 'passion' to the conservatiion. My sentiments are with WWF family. In this tragic situation worldwide help is necessary for the organization. We who remain have the responsibility to continue the efforts for a living planet.

It takes a very special person to dedicate themselves to such a worthy cause that never seems to end yet they work tirelessly for the good of the Earth and all living creatures. Unfortunately there are not enough of these people and to have the ones that do exist ripped away by such an unfortunate incident is sad beyond words. I pray for them and their families that they take solace in the fact that they did a lot of good with their lives and they will be sorely missed.
