WWF launches the Black Sea Box for the school children in Bulgaria and Romania
The training kit can be used in separate lessons on the environment, social sciences, mathematics, science and technology, but also outside school – at the meetings of the kids clubs about nature and the environment.
At first, the Black Sea Box will be distributed in 300 schools in Bulgaria. Later this autumn it will be launched in Romania as well. The official launch of the Black Sea Box will be in the National Museum of Natural History in Sofia on 31 October 2013, the International Black Sea Day.
The Black Sea Box is implemented as part of the partnership “Every drop of water counts” between United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Coca Cola. With the support of UNDP up to now the initiative has been running in Turkey, Russia, Georgia and Ukraine with Bulgaria and Romania also joining.
