Project Officer, [Fishery Co-management] (Re-advertise)WWF-Lao, WWF Cambodia had received funds from The German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the project called “Management and Conservation of Mekong River Wetlands Project” in southern Laos and northern Cambodia. This project will protect biodiversity, sustainable natural resource use, and ecological functions n the three most important wetland sites on the lower Mekong – Siphandone, a 50-km stretch in Cambodia up to the Lao PDR border, and the 56-km Central Section between Kratie and Stung Treng, Cambodia. Together these areas contain nearly 150 km of n the lower Mekong.
WWF-Laos is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and experienced Lao National candidate to work in new project area Siphandone for the following position:
Project Officer, [Fishery Co-management] - (full time)
Base location: Khong District, Champasak
The Project Officer provides support to the Project Manager in the planning, management, implementation, monitoring and reporting of project activities to ensure compliance with the Project Document and WWF’s contractual obligations and ensure close collaboration between the project management, partners and other relevant stakeholders in the project sites.
Gross salary from: US$4,836 to US$7,248 or Lak38,571,936 to Lak57,810,048 per year depended on qualification.
