WWF Tanzania takes part in Excellence Journalism Award of Tanzania

On the night of Saturday 29th
April, 2017 WWF Tanzania attended Excellence in Journalism Awards of Tanzania (EJAT) event as sponsors of the Tourism and Conservation category. 810 journalists contested in 19 categories for Print, Radio and Television. The Tourism and Conservation category had only contestants for Print. And the winner was Peter Nyanje of The Citizen.

He thanked WWF for facilitating his visit to Selous because that is what gave him the inspiration and knowledge he has used in the article series. He wants to see positive change in Selous, that Selous is protected, he wants to see lives and biodiversity in Selous maintained and protected. And his biggest desire is to see the government stop all economic activities that are dangerous to the Game Reserve
