WWF Bhutan Program is organizing a workshop on Fundamental of Climate Change Adaptation from the 19th till the 22nd of May in Thimphu.

The  workshop aspires to help prepare key stakeholders and partners of WWF Bhutan to begin asking the right questions and discover  why  we  need  to  re-examine  the  way  we  help  save  biodiversity  and  improve livelihoods in the places we work.

Through a combination of presentations, case studies, games,  and  interactive  exercises,  participants  will be engaged in much  of  what  they need to know to get started working on climate change adaptation.
The course is aimed at those who are relatively new to adaptation, but is also tailored for seasoned professionals to gain new perspectives through discussions and to share their own experiences.

Participants will also learn how current conservation and development strategies could be made “climate-smart.” Through  group  exercises and practice sessions, participants will learn simple techniques to use climate-smart thinking and language in their plans and identify  new  activities  that  must be undertaken  to  make well-informed  strategies  in  the  future.
