Presentation of the Guide to the Forest Legislation of the Republic of Armenia

June 4, 2012 - WWF-Armenia jointly with Environmental Law Resource Center organized a presentation of the Guide to the Forest Legislation, RA that took place in Yerevan State University. The Guide is the first complex source of scientific-practical commentaries and is designed for those of working in legislative, executive and judicial systems, organizations engaged in nature conservation, forestry, and business. The publication may also be useful for lecturers and students of higher education institutions and for those interested in nature conservation.

The presentation of the Guide was attended by the representatives of WWF-Armenia, Environmental Law Resource Center, “Hayantar” SNCO, Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia, environmental inspections, NGOs, journalists as well as other stakeholders.

The guide was prepared and published in the framework of Improving Forest Law Enforcement and Governance in the European Neighbourhood Policy East Countries and Russia (ENPI-FLEG) regional project financed by the European Union and Austrian Development Cooperation as a part of WWF-Armenia activity: "Capacity building in forest legislation issues through publication of manual on forest legislation and implementation of trainings."
