In July 2013 a visibility package was produced by WWF Armenian Branch in the frames of the EU funded regional project “Increasing the Resilience of Forest Ecosystems against Climate Change in the Southern Caucasus through Forest Transformation” as a part of visibility actions envisaged by the project. A package includes a note-book, pen, cup, baseball cap, panama cap, cloth bag and T-shirt – all with respective logos of EU and WWF. The visibility materials are already being distributed to various audiences, including a wide range of stakeholders - state and non-state organizations and communities involved in the project implementation.

The project in Armenia is implemented by WWF Armenian Branch and is aimed at increasing the resilience of forest stands against climate change. The overall objective of the project is to mitigate climate change impacts and improve biodiversity and livelihoods of local populations. Two pilot sites with total area of 150 ha located in Gugarq and Noyemberyan Forest Enterprises of “Hayantar” SNCO (respectively Lori and Tavush regions of Armenia) will be transformed into more resilient and “close to nature” forests.
