WWF launched a new strategy that harnesses the strengths of the WWF network in a shared vision, focussing on six major goals - water, wildlife, the ocean, climate and energy, forests, and food – and three key drivers of environmental problems – markets, finance and governance.
In support of this strategy WWF undertook a redesign of its international secretariat that will further unite WWF offices and its near 6,400 staff around the world. This will help WWF to build stronger partnerships across the world with government, business, civil society and individuals. Together, we will deliver on WWF’s ambitious goals.
We are recruiting the role of HRIS Specialist for our International Secretariat to help us achieve our new ambitious goals, and build a future where people live in harmony with nature.

WWF International has selected a new Cloud based Human Resources Information System (HRIS) solution that addresses the real needs and challenges of today’s WWF international global HR department. The implementation phase is just starting and requires a HRIS Specialist person with the combination of strong global understanding of HR processes within a decentralised International structure and technical platform expertise.

The Role:

The Specialist will take ownership of the HRIS taking responsibility for shaping, maintaining, developing and administrating the platform.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support end-users (HR teams)  on a day-to-day basis with the use of Salesforce or related apps.
  • Performing the configuration and the maintenance of the  HRIS platform to meet customer (HR) requirements
  • Modification of page layouts over various objects where needed
  • Maintaining configuration details for the HRIS module that currently include:
  • The Recruit core package
  • Agency and candidate portals
  • Job Board postings, HR department, HR policies
  • Employee self-service portal
  • Absence management module
  • Performance module
  • Setting-up and maintaining emails and workflows
  • Maintaining approval processes
  • Building custom reports and Dashboards
  • Maintaining the organization chart up to date and available for use
  • account creation and management
  • Assist with importing or updating data on a large scale
  • Ensuring user licenses are added, removed, and maintained compliant to license management and security policies.
  • Monitoring data storage and ensuring the usage of the platform remains within the licensed parameters
  • Documenting system configuration and application enhancements and users guidelines.
  • Keep up to date with the releases, including the testing phase, evaluate impact of new features and functionality, identify opportunities, and prepare for roll out and adoption of new releases.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator Certification
  • Good understanding of decentralized HR processes and linkages with other systems.
  • Exposure to SOQL, APEX, Visualforce
  • Strong experience of administering a Fairsail or Salesforce platform in HR areas.
  • Understanding of databases, objects, fields and the underlying architecture of the software and how individual changes effect one another
  • Competent user of spreadsheets to the extent she/he could create pivot tables and manipulate data.  This is not required for Sage People but someone this with this kind of skill will find Sage People easier to learn.
  • Experience of a reporting tool (Salesforce is ideal)
  • Logical and process-oriented mindset to be able to think through workflows, approvals and how business processes should work
  • Inquisitive mind to work out how the mechanics of Sage People and the Salesforce platform work together
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, complete work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to function in a multi-cultural environment
  • Strong understanding of business requirements and evolutions
  • Results oriented
  • Ability to manage user expectation
  • Aptitude for clear and concise oral and written communication
  • Fluency in English
