WWF Regional Office for Africa (ROA) is seeking to recruit an outstanding and committed individual to fill the above vacant position.
 
The Role:
 
The post holder will ensure that WWF has an accountable and high performing Regional Office, with the full capacity, adequate resources and processes to manage and allocate its financial resources in order to achieve its conservation goals.
 
He/she will provide direction on financial management, policies and procedures, ensuring that the ROA staff are informed of all developments in financial policies laid down by FOM or local procedures in the countries where ROA staff are hosted. In addition, the incumbent will supervise and monitor all aspects of administrative, logistics and procurement activities based on WWF policies, procedures and system requirements.
 
This role will ensure that ROA Nairobi and Yaoundé offices correctly maintain their legal status and meet all local legal requirements and maintain oversight of all permits, registrations and exemptions granted in Kenya in line with the relationship with Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
 
The post holder will report to the Director, Finance & Operations, Africa and work closely with the Regional Management Team for Africa, Country Offices Finance and Operations teams, Finance staff in WWF-International and other regions.

If you have a university degree in Commerce, Business Administration or related field; CIA, CPA (K), ACCA, CIMA qualifications or equivalent combined with at least 10 years Operational and management experience in Finance, operations and administration, with demonstrable broad understanding of the full range of services to be delivered through a shared services model, a strong financial acumen and proven drive for results and excellent interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, discretion and impartiality); this is the perfect job for you.
