Green Office

Often considered a cause of environmental problems, corporations now can be part of the solution to climate change.
Green Office, a simple and light environmental management system (EMS), will be beneficial to both the environment and the organization. Originally developed in 1997 by WWF Finland, Green Office is suitable for large and small offices, in both public and private sector.

Being a member of the Green Office network, an organization will be able to reduce office waste as well as saving on materials and energy costs at the same time. Also the office can save forests and reduce emission of carbon dioxide. The organization wil also benefit from a newly motivated and environmentally aware personnel and an improved corporate image.

Green Office is now being implemented in Vietnam and will soon be expanded to Lao PDR and Cambodia.

As members of WWF Green Office, corporations will have some major benefits and services that WWF provides during the membership time.

Information on membership fees can be found in Green Office application form.
