Luli holds a degree in management economics from Ateneo de Manila University in Manila and a master of science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in Washington DC.
Prior to joining WWF, Luli worked on regional technology and business policy for eleven years, particularly in ASEAN
, as programme officer of the policy group Philippine Foundation for Global Concerns.
She volunteered with WWF-Philippines
in their efforts to return prized napoleon wrasse and groupers from a captured poaching boat back to Tubbataha Reef, a UNESCO
World Heritage Site and marine protected area.
Recently married, Luli and her husband regularly volunteer for underwater cleanups, and both love surfing and scuba diving in the Coral Triangle.
