Identifying and mapping forests with High Conservation Values and producing management recommendations for Ajara Autonomous RepublicWWF-Caucasus Programme Office (WWF-CauPO) is implementing a project “Improving the Resilience of Forest Ecosystems through Adaptive Forest Management in Georgia” (Ajara Autonomous Republic, Georgia; No: GE0055). The project is funded by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and WWF Germany. One of the key components of the project involve the identification, mapping and preparation management recommendations for forests with High Conservation Values (HCVs) in Ajara.
In order to fulfil this task, WWF-CauPO will recruit either: a) consulting company, or b) a team of experts or c) a joint venture (or equivalent) of consulting companies. The work will be commenced in April 2017 and will be finished in September 2017. Further details, including instructions for application, are provided in the attached Terms of Reference. Applicants should provide the following information:
- The description of their relevant experiences as outlined in the ToR
- Proposed methods of work
- Total service price, including staff, consultants, profit margin, travel, meeting, taxes and all other applicable costs.
