WWF Position Paper on Forest Certification
Among other things, this position statement sets out how WWF views credible forest certification, and lists WWF's criteria for a sound forest certication scheme that can promote improvement in forest management, transparency, international consistency and balanced multi-stakeholder governance. It also lists how WWF will work with stakeholders on forest certification.
This position statement replaces four previous position statements on 1) Certification, 2) Mutual Recognition, 3) FSC, and 4) PEFC.
