Get ready to race!

WWF and Team Garmin-Sharp are teaming up to create a new partnership that will run throughout the 2014 racing season, bringing sports and conservation together.
The social media cycle
The partnership came about through a twitter conversation during 2013’s Tour de France, when the team’s panda mascot joined forces with WWF’s panda protection mission. Many conversations later the partnership is ready to go, with both teams appreciating the need for conservation of our natural world- and both in it to succeed.

The partnership will be in force as the cycle season travels round the world in 2014, mirroring the WWF’s mission to protect and conserve different species and habitats around the globe. Both sides know the importance of taking part, and the thrill and value of winning, in cycling and for the planet.

The race season starts at the Tour Down Under on 21 January, and runs through to the Tour of Beijing, with it's famous ‘Panda Corner’, on 10 October.
