Tigers in the Mekong

The story behind the video
Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam - together they form the world's largest tiger territory.

Yet tiger numbers have fallen by more than 70% in slightly more than a decade in the Greater Mekong region.

This decline is reflected in the global wild tiger population, which is at an all time low of 3,200 - down from an estimated 5,000 to 7,000 during the last Year of the Tiger.

Decisive action must be taken to ensure this iconic species does not reach the point of no return.
