In April 2005, WWF International organized its prestigious international gala event —

The Panda Ball

at the five-star Raffles Le Montreux Palace Hotel in the idyllic lakeside town of Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

Raising funds for the Arctic

Attended by 350 guests, with VIPs from the business, banking and financial sectors, The Panda Ball was held in aid of WWF’s conservation work in the magnificent, pristine Arctic region.

Prizes galore!

The lucky winner of the first prize in the high-quality raffle took home a magnificent lady’s Delance watch worth CHF 14,000.-

Altogether, more than 150 fabulous prizes were generously donated by local and international sponsors.
