Buy renewable energy

To reduce carbon emissions, we urgently need to replace fossil fuels – like coal, oil and natural gas – with renewable energy sources – like water, wind, solar, biomass and geothermal power.
The more demand there is for such renewable energy, the faster they will replace fossil fuels. 

Switch to "green" electricity

Power companies in many countries now offer electricity generated from renewable energy sources. 

Contact your electricity retailer to make the switch to cleaner power.

Be sure to look for accredited "green energy" labels to be sure your electricity supply really is clean.
