What happened to Panda Passport?
Change comes to all things.
And so it has with Panda Passport: WWF's first global online campaigning tool.
Invented in 1998, Passport has had many successes on the ground over the years saving everything from tigers and whales to lakes and seas.
But as Passport enters its teenage years, like all teenagers, the time had come for change.
In its new guise Passport has become the myWWF Action Centre.
Yup. That's a bit of a mouthful, so we tend to just call it the Action Centre.
A place where the actions you take are more integrated with other things you may take part in with WWF. Things such as making comments on news stories or, in a few short months, buying virtual gifts for people you care about.
We recognize and deeply appreciate that many of you cared deeply about what you could do with Passport and the recognition it gave you. So here's a few of perhaps your more important questions answered:

What is the difference between Passport and the Action Center?
At the basic level, there is no difference. The Action Center is nothing more then the new incarnation of Panda Passport. The crucial shift, however, is that we have all our actions integrated into our website.This will allows us build a broader and more flexible platform through which we can harness the power of the online community not only for activism, but for other ways in which we can all work together to reach our goal of saving our planet and promoting a better life for all of us.
