WWF Volunteer & Internship Programme 5 Month Communication Opportunity in Cambodia 2017

Experiencing a renown international organization’s work in a foreign country was an experience I'd repeat at any time. For me, it was so valuable because I became aware of how much choice I, as a lucky one who lives in one of the few welfare states, am given in my life – for example to obtain education.
Experiencing a renown international organization’s work in a foreign country was an experience I'd repeat at any time. For me, it was so valuable because I became aware of how much choice I, as a lucky one who lives in one of the few welfare states, am given in my life – for example to obtain education.

As a Communications Assistant for WWF-Cambodia, it was particularly interesting what modes of communication motivate and inspire people in another culture, and with what a precision, but also cautiousness, official and government-involving topics need to be tackled.

I will now go on to study in London and hope to use my knowledge for a good cause at some point – which I believe really requires comprehensive knowledge and broad perspectives, because all global challenges we need to tackle in the future are so interconnected that it is likely for one problem's solution to bring along downsides that affect other peoples’ or organisations' work.

Therefore, I believe that the future truly depends on international cooperation and organization's – and this is why I deeply thank the World Wildlife Fund for giving me an insight into their work.
