'Just One' to Save the Planet

Environmental action can begin anytime, anywhere. WWF has teamed up with Sands China Ltd. to offer you an opportunity to contribute to Planet Earth even when you are travelling and are miles away from home.

For every night you spend at The Venetian® Macao and The Parisian Macao, you can include US$ 1 (MOP / HKD$ 8) to your total bill to help WWF develop and support local conservation projects. Together, we can work towards a sustainable future - one night at a time!

Sands China & 'Just One'

Sands China Ltd. partners with WWF to lead the ‘Just One’ programme in Macau as part of the Sands’ ECO360° global sustainability strategy. Guests at The Venetian® Macao and The Parisian Macao can contribute to conservation projects in Macau and China.

Here are some of the key projects that you will contribute to:

WWF-China’s Biomass Fuel Stove Project

WWF-China is promoting the alternative use of corn stalk as bio-combustible for household stoves, reducing air pollution resulting from field burnings of agricultural produce. Through Just One, you can contribute to the project and help reduce air pollution.

Low Carbon City Initiative (LCCI)

The air gets increasingly polluted with the rise of heavy industrialization. With LCCI, WWF-China looks to improve energy efficiency in various industries. Your donation will support WWF-China's ongoing efforts in exploring low carbon development models in different cities

Living Yangtze

The Yangtze River supports half of China’s total wild animal and plant species. The upper, central, and lower reaches are the only home of endangered species including the snow leopard and the giant panda. Your donation can support WWF-China's efforts in safeguarding the species and ensuring water security.

Sustainable Forest Management

As natural forests deplete, the economic and cultural wealth of various nations are heavily eroded. Your donations can support WWF-China’s work in sustainable harvesting practices as well as various plantation projects.

Sands China and WWF Partnership on Climate Action

Through the ‘Just One’ hotels programme, every night you spend away from home can help save ‘homes’ for people and wildlife around the world - our incredible planet.

WWF is working with Sands China to build a greener, more sustainable future with the help of hotel guests. Sands China is a leading player in the hospitality industry with a strong commitment to sustainability, and has the ability to influence people from all over the world. Together, we want to demonstrate that we can all contribute to saving our planet - All it takes is ‘Just One’.
